Application process

Staff are appointed to positions in the ACTPS on merit. Relevant abilities, qualifications, experience, personal qualities and potential for development of applicants are assessed in the selection process. The principles of merit, equity and diversity and procedural fairness are integral to recruitment processes in the ACTPS.

Successful applicants will become permanent officers (unless noted otherwise) of the ACTPS on attractive terms and conditions.
