Details: Seeking an outstanding leader who can creatively navigate technical challenges while mentoring and building a small team of technical/operational officers. The right candidate will live and breathe troubleshooting technical issues in business systems, while ensuring the day-to-day operational actions/maintenance are achieved. The position will require skilful engagement with other technical experts across government.
We are looking for a candidate with exceptional SQL capabilities who thrives in training and building others, passing along their knowledge.
In addition, having deep knowledge in Dynamics365 CRM platforms, with the ability to administer, configure, and troubleshoot issues will set you apart (but finding joy in support aging systems). An outstanding candidate can extend their skills and develop code in C# / Java Script and build on Power Automate to further support the ongoing development and use of our Dynamics365 environment.
The role is expected to provide trusted technical support/advice on a range of client services and business applications, the advancement of technology, support business systems and providing strategic ICT knowledge in line with business objectives.

Note: This is a permanent position available immediately. A Merit Pool will be established from the selection process and will be used to fill any further vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will be in workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Travel between sites may be required. The ACTPS offers a collaborative and supportive work environment. We aim to be the most progressive jurisdiction in Australia for hybrid and flexible working. Our team utilises hybrid work arrangements, including home-based and activity-based working predominantly in Gungahlin, the City and Belconnen (please note, attendance in the office for 2+ days is required).
This position is an assessed Position of Trust that requires Australian citizenship and a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance, or the ability to acquire and maintain one.
