Details: The Human Resource Management System (HRMS) Administration Team is seeking experienced payroll professionals to lead the delivery of critical payroll and disbursement services across the ACT Public Service.
In this role, you’ll:
- Manage fortnightly payroll processing and salary disbursements using Chris21 and the Rators.
- Manage superannuation, STP & CSC file submission, along with remittance, payslips, and finance reporting distribution
- Maintain payroll data integrity and support system upgrades and testing.
- Oversea account management, exception handling, and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across ACT Government and contribute to strategic initiatives and system improvements.
What you’ll bring:
- Essential: Experience with Chris21, iChris and/or Rators in a complex payroll environment.
- Essential: Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, STP, superannuation, and reconciliation processes.
- Desirable: Qualifications in HR or a related field.
- High-level skills in system configuration and data integrity.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, public service values, and collaborative teamwork.
