Details: Shared Services, Education ICT are seeking a self-motivated person to effectively lead and manage the ICT embedded team. The successful applicant will have leadership expertise in delivering agreed strategic business outcomes and solutions by taking initiative, managing resources and setting clear direction and providing guidance for managers and team members. We are looking for a leader who is resilient and can adapt to changing circumstances, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and demands, in a constantly changing, complex and diverse ICT environment. You will engage broadly, conciseness and high level written and verbal communication skills is valued in this role as the successful applicant will be expected to represent Shared Services, Education ICT particularly in the areas of ICT Management and ICT for learning and teaching. As a key issues-escalation point, we are looking for a manager who has a strategic and holistic approach to service design, support and delivery of business services and applications. We need a manager who can own problems and provide solutions to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of ICT operations, business systems and related activities for the Directorate. The successful applicant will have advanced conceptual analytical skills, particularly the ability to understand how issues integrate and to make rational judgement from available information. The successful applicant will have an ability to establish and maintain effective and diverse strategic business partnerships, including with executive stakeholders; through collaboration, engagement, responsiveness and influence to promote development methodologies and standards that support the ACT government policies and cloud first strategy.
