Details: Canberra Memorial Parks is seeking an empathetic and compassionate individual to assist the Memorial Services Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the Memorial Hall and Condolence Lounge at Gungahlin Cemetery. Working under limited supervision, you will be directly responsible for the provision of exemplary stakeholder service and care. You will have thorough knowledge in the use of audio-visual and multimedia systems and the use of the Microsoft Office Suite. Highly developed stakeholder relationship skills are essential in supporting, and working with, multiple stakeholder groups, including members of the community, funeral directors, clergy and celebrants, faith and cultural groups, caterers, vendors and contractors, and inter-government service providers.
This position will have direct exposure to highly emotive persons and distressing situations. While this position requires a high level of empathy and compassion, you will have access to a broad range of services and resources to support you in your role.
You will work directly with the Memorial Services Supervisor to operate this fantastic new facility. Together, you will be the face of Canberra Memorial Parks in delivering outstanding service to our stakeholders and community.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Driver’s license Class C is essential.
- Visa holders are eligible to apply for both permanent and temporary roles. Those with eligible visas may be considered for permanent employment, while individuals with temporary residency or limited-duration visas may be offered permanent employment for the duration of their visas.
Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
