Details: The Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs is seeking applications for the position of Project Officer in the Coordination and Engagement Team. The position will support the Coordination and Engagement Team to plan, direct and coordinate the overall functions of the team and the Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs. The Project Officer undertakes tasks of a specialist/specific nature in whole of government and community engagement roles. The position reports to the Assistant Manager, Coordination and Engagement Team.
Eligibility/Other Requirements: This is a designated position in accordance with s42, Discrimination Act 1991 and is only open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage is considered essential and therefore a Confirmation of Aboriginality may be requested. Current driver's licence is required.
