Details: Bonython Primary School is seeking a highly effective classroom teacher to work collaboratively as part of the 3-4 teaching team. The successful applicant will lead students in building an inquiry mindset, based on the work of Kath Murdoch; have a sound understanding of the five principles of formative assessment to implement an inquiry pedagogical framework; collaboratively plan with other team members and demonstrate a good understanding of the Australian Curriculum; effectively use data and evidence to ensure all students continue to improve and meet/work towards the Achievement Standards; have strong credibility as a classroom teacher. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI) and a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
