Details: The Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development directorate is seeking a talented Media Manager who has a passion for developing compelling and creative media content to inform and engage Canberrans. As part of a small team, you will be working on proactive and reactive media and issues management projects that are community-focussed and help to communicate the Directorate’s important work to key stakeholders and the Canberra community. You will be responsible for developing and producing high quality media and social media content to support outputs across a variety of different media types and channels. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in journalism, public relations or a relevant discipline.
Note: This is a temporary position available from the 24 February 2020 up until 31 December 2020 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
