Details: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is looking for a collaborative and driven Policy Officer with well-developed organisational skills to join the Policy, Legal and Research Unit to contribute to the development of strategic and operational policy and support the achievement of program objectives in a timely manner and to a high standard. This position will involve the development and review of policies related to correctional practice and providing advice on policy matters, legislative compliance and responses to recommendations. Duties also include overseeing of delegations, legislative matters and administrative tasks as required. Suitability for this position will be assessed on your Behaviour, Knowledge and Skills in relation to the duties/responsibilities listed in the Position Description. Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 January 2020 with the possibility of extension for up to six months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
