Details: Legislation, Policy, and Programs (LPP) advises on and develops policy and legislation in relation to all aspects of civil and criminal law in the Territory. It also develops and administers a variety of justice-related programs.

LPP is seeking a Senior Officer Grade B to manage the Governance and Business Support (GBS) team in LPP.  The GBS team is responsible for providing governance, executive and business support; compliance activities; financial management, human resources, work safety, Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT), risk management, business continuity, records management; and develops and co-ordinates LPP’s contribution to directorate and whole-of-government processes.

The Director is also responsible for the coordination of the executive support for the Executive Group Manager and the Executive Branch Managers in LPP.

The successful applicant will provide leadership, while autonomously managing an extensive work program. The successful applicant will develop and promote positive relationships with key stakeholders and support to the Justice and Community Safety (JACS) Executive, whilst maintaining a high-level of confidentiality and discretion.

To be successful, the applicant will require a detailed understanding of government processes, and strong stakeholder engagement, organisational, and collaboration skills.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field are highly desirable but not essential.
