Details: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and suitable individual to fill the role of Visits Coordinator within the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC) Executive Support Team. The successful applicant will be responsible for administering and coordinating visits bookings while maintaining compliance with the visits policy, including restrictions as indicated by Custodial Information System alerts, court orders, visit status, victim alerts, operational requirements and other matters relating to safety and security in the custodial environment. The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate strong administrative capability including reporting tasks as required, providing data and statistics in relation to detainee visits, maintaining information in spreadsheets and updating the Custodial Information System. To be successful, you will have the ability to think and act in a busy environment, possess excellent customer service and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to manage personal work priorities. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Prior to commencing in this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 will be required.
