Details: The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) is seeking applications from experienced, highly motivated and suitable individuals to fill the position of Director, ESA Territory Radio Network (TRN) Projects.

As the Director, you will provide strategic oversight of a number of key TRN projects encompassing ICT, and the delivery of the ESA/JACS ICT and Territory Radio Network (TRN) programs. You will be the central coordinator, support change management activities and prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met. This role is also required to design, define and implement project requirements through accurately establishing service user expectations and analysing internal and external stakeholder interests; as well as lead and assist subject matter expert project teams and any external resources required.

You will also be experienced in preparation of high level, detailed quality briefings, communications and project progress reports. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, ACT Government and Justice and Community Safety (JACS) Directorate policy frameworks.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:  

  • Extensive experience in an ICT project, program, or coordination role at a senior level in a public service environment is highly desirable.
  • Driver’s license ‘Class C’ is essential.
  • This position requires a police check.

Notes: This position will be offered on a casual basis and the full-time salary noted above will be paid pro-rata. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
