If you are an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced HR Officer looking to work in an innovative and dynamic team then this position may be for you. We are looking for you to be a well-rounded and experienced HR/administrator is effective at managing competing priorities and is flexible in approach. You will need to possess strong attention to detail, be willing to work in a cross-functional team play a key role in administering and coordinating SLA’ HR, reporting and recruitment processes.

You will be skilled in interpreting practically applying legislation, policy, guidelines with a focus on building positive relationships. We will need you to have strong written and verbal communication skills.

SLA supports the ACTPS Flexible Work Policy. This position will require attendance in the office based on operational requirements for approximately 3 days per week, days may be negotiated.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Highly Desirable

  • Human resource or business qualification
  • Work experience in a similar administrative or recruitment role in the public sector
  • Willingness to be a Fire Warden and/or First Aid Officer

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 November 2024 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. this position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk
