Details: Transport Canberra Commercial is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the team. The Executive Assistant will provide high-quality support to the Executive Group Manager, Commercial to ensure the ACT Government meets its objectives for public transport in Canberra, namely to provide modern, reliable public transport choice to the ACT community in a financial sustainable manner. The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Group Manager, Commercial for Transport Canberra. Working closely with the Executive Group Manager and Senior Director Commercial, the Executive Assistant will ensure all incoming and outgoing communications are managed in a timely manner, prepare correspondence as required and manage the diary of the Executive Group Manager, including appointment bookings, meetings and preparing travel arrangements for the broader team. The Executive Assistant will also provide administrative support in preparing meeting agendas, reports, briefs as well as facilitating ministerial correspondence. Eligibility/Other Requirements: To be successful in this position you: Will have extensive Executive Assistant experience; will have sound judgement and be able to work under-pressure; will have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills. A driver’s licence (C-class) is mandatory.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for up to six months. This position is likely to be relocated to Woden during the next six months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW) in 2019. Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
