About the Role:
Justice Health Services (JHS), part of the Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS) Division of Canberra Health Services, is seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team.
JHS delivers contemporary, evidence-based healthcare to people involved in the criminal justice system, providing equitable, person-centred care across custodial, youth detention, court and community settings. Working at the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC) and Bimberi Youth Justice Centre (BYJC), you will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services and clinical interventions to a diverse and often vulnerable population.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team, delivering high-quality care while contributing to service improvement initiatives and maintaining professional excellence. Nurses with strong clinical skills, adaptability and a commitment to improving health outcomes will thrive in this unique healthcare setting.
This position requires working across multiple sites, participation in overtime, and the ability to work a full rotating roster.
