About the Role:

Are you a passionate and creative therapist looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges?

We are seeking a Creative Arts Therapist (HP1) to join our dynamic Allied Health team, delivering recovery-focused services within Adult Mental Health Inpatient facilities.

As a Creative Arts Therapist, you will conduct skilled clinical assessments and provide individual and group-based creative arts therapy interventions that support consumers on their recovery journey. Working under routine supervision, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions and contribute to positive consumer outcomes.

You will be part of a diverse Allied Health team that collaborates to support the recovery goals of individuals admitted to Adult Mental Health Inpatient Services.

The successful applicant will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented creative arts therapy interventions to consumers within an adult mental health inpatient setting. The role involves planning and facilitating both individual and group therapy programs, monitoring and evaluating consumer progress, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Allied Health team, the Creative Arts Therapist will support consumers to achieve their recovery goals while contributing to quality improvement initiatives and service development activities that promote best-practice care. The position also requires maintaining professional, ethical, and organisational standards, engaging in clinical supervision, and participating in ongoing professional development to enhance service outcomes.

• Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
