About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated leader to step into a temporary Director of Medical Imaging role at North Canberra Hospital Medical Imaging Department. This position offers a unique chance to broaden your leadership experience while working alongside a highly skilled and collaborative multidisciplinary team. You will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the future of our service and contributing to the development and strategic planning of a new hospital facility. We are seeking a health professional with broad experience who can confidently lead and inspire a diverse workforce of radiographers, sonographers, nurses, and administrative staff, fostering excellence in patient care and service delivery.
Equipped with comprehensive imaging capabilities including X-ray, CT, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound, the Medical Imaging Department at North Canberra Hospital delivers a high-quality, patient-focused service to the North Canberra community and surrounds, supporting inpatient, emergency, and outpatient care across the hospital network. Offering a 24/7 service, the team works collaboratively to ensure responsive and compassionate care for patients at any hour, meeting the diverse needs of a growing population.

Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:
- Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
- Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
- Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
