Details: As a Marketing Officer at VisitCanberra, you’ll play an important role in delivering destination and event marketing activity that showcases Canberra to audiences across Australia and beyond. You’ll contribute to the development, coordination, and implementation of campaigns and programs that bring together advertising, content marketing, public relations, social media, creative production, digital activity, and key partnerships.

You’ll work closely with VisitCanberra’s agencies and partners to help ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and achieve strong outcomes. Day to day, you’ll also provide essential administrative support across project coordination, finance tasks, maintaining campaign records, preparing briefs and reports, and assisting with other tasks as required.

Collaboration is central to how we work. You’ll support teams across VisitCanberra on a range of projects and programs that require marketing expertise, contributing to a cohesive and high-performing work environment.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing or a related discipline is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Tourism Sector is desirable.

Note: A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
