What you will do – Position Overview
We are seeking an Executive Teacher - Preschool & Kindergarten with experience teaching and leading preschool and kindergarten. As a member of the Leadership Team, the successful applicant will lead the design and delivery of early years learning, including Strong Foundations, and manage NQF requirements as the Educational Leader for preschool. They will work closely with the whole leadership team to engage with students, families and community organisations to deliver positive academic, behavioural and social outcomes for students in Preschool to Year 6.

The successful applicant’s key responsibilities will be to:
- lead staff and students in enacting our Bonython Guiding Principles for learning, curriculum, learners and environments.
- lead the design and implementation of early childhood pedagogy and curriculum across preschool and kindergarten supporting the implementation of Strong Foundations and collaborative team planning.
- effectively coach and mentor staff through strong credibility as a classroom teacher. Work alongside educators to improve inclusive teaching practice by coaching, modelling and mentoring across Preschool - Year 6.
- collaborate with stakeholders to build strong, trusted relationships with students, staff, families, and external providers to enhance student outcomes contribute to the leadership team.
- actively participate in whole-school leadership, supporting decision-making and strategic planning for student learning, wellbeing and inclusion.
- lead preschool - Guide the preschool team in implementing the NQF and QIP, aligning reflective practice with early childhood pedagogy to meet student needs.
- undertake a teaching load and other duties as determined by the Principal.
Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
