Details: Narrabundah College is seeking an experienced and collaborative School Leader C (Executive Teacher Science) with strong leadership and teamwork capabilities. The successful applicant will foster a cohesive and high-performing faculty team while contributing effectively as a member of the College Executive, supporting continuous school improvement and strategic priorities.
The role requires the ability to lead the delivery of Science curriculum across a wide variety of scientific disciplines, including both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Australian Curriculum pathways. The successful applicant will also demonstrate the capacity and willingness to oversee Sport and Physical Education programs. Knowledge of, or a willingness to develop expertise in, Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) certification processes is also a requirement.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
- A minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.
- Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) or eligibility to obtain TQI.
- A current registration issued through Access Canberra under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 (WwVP).
