The People and Performance branch supports the Directorate through the provision of a broad range of strategic and operational human resource management functions including employee and industrial relation, recruitment, and retention, learning and development, rewards and recognition, workplace culture and HR policy, organisational design, and workforce planning. As part of a results driven team, your role will be to assist the senior leadership team in providing a range of recruitment activities in support of the ACT Public Schools and the Education Support Office. You will be required to establish and maintain productive partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders by providing high quality and accurate advice to our clients in relation to their day-to-day operational recruitment related tasks.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Highly desirable:

Solid understanding of the HR context, or relevant qualifications/experience.

Previous or current experience within the Education Directorate. Understanding of, or experience working in an ACT Public School context or environment.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 28 May 2027 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
