Details: The Health and Community Services Directorate is seeking a motivated Immunisation Administration Officer to join our team. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the Immunisation Programs Team, Vaccine Management Unit, and Director of Immunisation to ensure the smooth delivery of vaccination programs across the ACT. Your work will balance data management and vaccine logistics with administrative tasks and program support.
Under the general direction of the Assistant Director and Team Leader, you will support both new and existing immunisation programs by managing logistics and data projects. You will maintain strict data quality, integrity, and confidentiality across various datasets. This includes using the Vaccine Inventory Management System and the Australian Immunisation Register to analyse information and prepare reports that directly inform program delivery. You will also review office processes and assist in writing a range of documents, including briefs, reports, standard operating procedures, and tender documentation. Your flexibility will be key as you support change management activities, answer the immunisation information line, and assist with general office functions to ensure business continuity during high-demand periods.
The successful applicant will need a strong understanding of data, reporting, or database systems, alongside knowledge of vaccine storage and management.
