Details: The Governance and Business Improvement Branch is seeking a dedicated, high performing professional to lead a team of subject matter experts to deliver evidenced based governance solutions for the Justice and Community Safety Directorate. The role requires someone who can lead with influence to engage stakeholders in shared objectives, whilst fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.

Working closely with the executive, the Senior Director is responsible for overseeing a broad range of functions including governance policy and frameworks, internal audit, risk management, fraud prevention, freedom of information, records management, protective security and business continuity. The position would suit someone who is adaptable and able to use their critical thinking to tailor high quality advice and services in a complex environment.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Qualifications in a related field are desirable but not mandatory.

Note: This position will be in a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
