Details: We are looking for people with the highest level of personal integrity to join the Audit Office's Performance Audit Team. You will have a keen interest in public administration, the ability to objectively analyse issues, evaluate evidence and prepare high-quality report.

Your work will have a direct impact on delivery of critical services for the ACT community.

The role
The ACT Audit Office is seeking a temporary Senior Analyst for up to a year (with possibility of extension and permanency) with an annual salary of between $101,597 and $122,602 plus superannuation.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

  • You do not need prior experience in performance audit. The key to success in this role will be your personal drive and integrity and ability to objectively analyse issues, evaluate evidence and write high-quality reports. You will also align strongly to, and actively demonstrate, our organisational values of Independence, Integrity, Professionalism, Respect and Learning and Innovation.
  • You will most likely have tertiary qualifications and you will be fluent in English.
  • This position is a Position of Trust 1 and therefore, if you are selected for this position, you will be required to gain and maintain a Baseline National Security Clearance or be assessed as suitable to obtain this clearance. If this clearance is not successful, your employment in the role will not commence or, if already commenced, will be terminated.
  • All employees are required to undergo employment screening.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency.

A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future vacancies over the next 12 months.
