Details: The ACT Health Directorate is seeking a capable officer to join the Activity Based Management Team. This role will introduce Activity Based Funding to the ACT's public hospital system and help to make it successful.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that engages with stakeholders across areas of service delivery, policy, data analytics and financial management. As part of the team, you will work to drive improvements in healthcare performance.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Experience in the healthcare sector or qualifications in Finance, Business Management or Economics would be desirable.

Note: This is a temporary position available from 1 July for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill similar vacancies within the Branch over the next 12 months.

Important Information for Applicants

Effective from 1 July 2025, as part of the ACT Public Sector (ACTPS) 2025 Change Implementation Program, the ACT Health Directorate and the Community Services Directorate will amalgamate to form the new Health and Community Services Directorate. In addition, positions in the Digital Services Division in the Health Directorate will join the new Digital Canberra (DC) directorate.
