About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Social Work Allied Health Assistant Level 3 to join the RACS Inpatient Social Work Team.
Allied Health Assistants are an integral part of the RACS Inpatient Social Work team, and work under the direction of Social Workers to manage specific tasks, processes or activities.
To be eligible to be a Social Work Allied Health Assistant Level 3 you will hold a Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance including the successful completion of an Allied Health Assistant Social Work skillset.
This is a permanent full-time position. Whilst full time hours are preferred, part time hours and / or flexible work hours may be considered. This position is available from 27 January 2026.

Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:
- Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
- Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
- Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
