About the Role:

The Speech Pathology Clinical Educator position provides clinical education and supervision support for speech pathology students and staff and assists with facilitating and promoting interprofessional clinical education activities. The clinical educator is pivotal to the successful facilitation of student placements and in supporting speech pathology staff with clinical education, supervision and skill acquisition. This position is for an experienced clinician who leads with commitment, is able to create solutions, demonstrates agility, communicates effectively, collaborates with purpose and is accountable for quality outcomes.

The position sits within the Allied Health Clinical Education Unit (AHCEU), based at the Canberra Hospital with time working at the University of Canberra Hospital.

Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:

  • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
  • Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
  • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
  • Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.

Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
