Details: Canberra Health Services (CHS) are seeking an experienced senior leader with an operations background to fill the position of Executive Director, Integrated Operations on a long-term contract.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) executive is a key leadership position with responsibility for networked operations and patient flow across the care continuum. The Executive Director will have a pivotal role in championing and delivering CHS transformational agenda through the IOC. This role will provide strategic and operational leadership across the acute, planned and subacute streams.
The Executive Director, Integrated Operations is responsible for the development of systems and processes for the health service including real-time and predictive management of patient flow, operational and capacity planning, escalation protocols and system-wide coordination of services to enable timely, effective, efficient and safe provision of services.
The incumbent will play a key role in cross border health service delivery in alignment with agreements and initiatives, and will work collaboratively across CHS, other ACT Government Directorates and Southern NSW Local Health District.
The successful applicant will provide outstanding and strategically focused leadership, communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders and work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy within a complex service delivery organisation.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $288,060 - $298,258 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $254,964.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
