Do you have a customer service background, good computing skills, an outgoing and driven personality, and the desire to join a supportive and fun team? If so, then CIT welcomes your application to either or both of the following opportunities: Information and Recognition Officer or Client Relationship Officer.

Successful applicants will be supporting students throughout their CIT learning journeys, from enrolment until completion and ensuring the student experiences are constructive and positive.

These roles include the following duties:

  • communicating with students (face-to-face, phone calls, emails and live chat),
  • providing course and skills recognition information,
  • navigating admissions and enrolments,
  • financial assistance and fee payment options,
  • Office 365 support,
  • student support referrals,
  • providing general administrative tasks supporting new and existing students and
  • others as required.

Applicants will be placed on a temporary employment register. These roles are on a casual basis for temporary, short term engagements or for special projects and vary between full-time and part-time hours. There is a possibility of shift work and you may be required to work across different campuses. Selection of applicants for employment will be made on the basis of merit throughout the year as needed.

If you have previously applied to be on the temporary employment register at CIT, you will need to re-apply at the beginning of each year. Any offer of employment will only be made as the need arises. ACT Public Service terms and conditions will apply to any employment.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Certificate II in Business, Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent would be desirable but not essential.
