Details: ACT Valuation Office (ACTVO) is part of ACT Revenue and is responsible for the delivery of annual rating valuations (Unimproved Value), assessing land rentals and ACT’s lease variation charge valuations.

The Senior Valuer would be an experienced valuer with the capability of valuing all classes of real property.  The role would work with the Principal Valuer, Managing Valuer and a range of key stakeholders within CMTEDD, the City and Environment Directorate (CED) and other areas of government.  The position would involve supporting the management of the ACTVO and a team of in-house valuers.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and Certified Practicing Valuer (CPV) status with a recognised Australian based valuation institute or equivalent will be highly regarded.
  • Hold membership with the Australian Property Institute or with a similar a professional body recognised within Australia.
  • A current Driver’s licence.

Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
