Details: Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate – Shared Services Finance is seeking expressions of interest from suitable candidates to undertake the role of the Finance Functional Lead.  The role will be within the Financial Application Support Team (FAST), a section comprising up to fifteen team members and will support the Directors and Senior Director by undertaking finance-based tasks including the support, development, integration and governance of the Territory Financial systems.  The position works closely with stakeholders within and external to Shared Services Finance to ensure the services delivered are relevant, meet current requirements and prepare for future and emerging needs.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from 1 September 2026 to 28 February 2027. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times. This position requires the occupant(s) to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia or hold a current Australian visa with work rights.
