Details: Sport and Recreation are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic professional to join our ACT Academy of Sport (ACTAS) team as the Head of Athletic Performance. The Head of Athletic Performance will work within the Performance Services team that provide athletic performance, sport science and sports medicine services to selected athletes from Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games sports. The Head of Athletic Performance will lead a dynamic team and work collaboratively across all areas of ACTAS, alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality performance services are delivered to ACTAS athletes.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: The successful candidate must hold;
- Bachelor of Exercise Science, Movement Science or Sports Science or a related field.
- Currently hold a valid Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) Level 3 Certification or ESSA Level 2
- Hold a current ASCA and/or ESSA Professional Membership.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.

Notes: This is a permanent full-time position located at the Australian Institute of Sport in Bruce, ACT. The position may be filled based on written application and referee reports only.
