Are you passionate about creating unforgettable visitor experiences? The National Arboretum Canberra is seeking enthusiastic and engaging individuals to join our team as Casual or Part-time Visitor Services Officers.
As a Visitor Services Officer, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values respect, teamwork and integrity. You will provide high quality customer service to a diverse range of visitors to ensure they have an exceptional experience. You will deliver high quality education programs to students from preschool to tertiary level and facilitate visitor experiences such as guided tours, birthday parties and school holiday activities. You will provide administrative support as part of your duties. This is a unique opportunity to work in a stunning natural setting. This position requires availability on weekends, weekdays, after hours, and public holidays.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Drivers license
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 13 October 2025 until 12 October 2026 with the possibility of permanency. There are also Casual positions available.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
