Within this division, Business, Communications and Engagement (BCE) supports small and medium enterprises, social enterprises, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, and priority industry sectors. We also lead strategic engagement aligned with whole-of-government priorities.

As a Senior Program and Policy Officer, you will provide high-level support across a range of initiatives that contribute to Canberra’s economic development. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting policy and program development. You’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment and contributing to high-quality outcomes. Experience in event operations, procurement, and contract management will be highly regarded.

High level communication skills - both written and verbal - are essential, particularly the ability to prepare and coordinate complex briefs, submissions, and correspondence.
