An exciting part-time (temporary) opportunity is available for an experienced Creative Designer to join CMTEDD's Campaigns and Creative team.
Shape high-profile communications seen across the ACT. Create engaging, accessible and impactful designs across digital and print channels that connect with audiences, support campaigns and bring government priorities to life.
Working alongside a collaborative team of creatives and communicators, you'll develop impactful solutions from concept to delivery while ensuring brand consistency and accessibility compliance.

What you'll bring:
- Strong graphic design skills and expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud in a Mac environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including presentations and templates
- Experience in creating accessible documents that meet (WCAG) standards
- Skills with motion and animation design software is very desirable (After Effects)
- Strong communication skills
- An understanding of contemporary design and communications practices
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 23 November 2026 for six months with the possibility of extension up to less than 12 months. This position is part-time at 22.05 hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
