If the answer is ‘Yes” then the Gaming Operations team wants to hear more about you and why you are the ideal candidate for this role.

We work in a highly responsive environment which at times includes supporting the implementation of significant regulatory reform to the gaming industry. We have diverse Government stakeholders and a broad range of Industry based clients whose licensing, permits, approval and authorisation needs are often complex in nature.

As an Assistant Director within the Gaming Operations team, you will be responsible for the operational oversight of a team with carriage for assessing a range of applications made under the ‘Gaming Laws’ within the ACT. These range in complexity from industry-based licensing for individuals to more involved probity assessments undertaken on corporate entities with complex structures, and a wide range of applications related to the operation of electronic gaming machines, the conduct of lotteries, and casino licensing functions.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will need to possess exceptional organisational skills, be capable of managing multiple tasks and display a consistent commitment to providing exceptional customer service.  You will communicate with all levels of management and assist with the support and leadership of a high performing multi-disciplinary team.

• Previous experience in a regulatory environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the gaming industry and legislation is highly desirable.

Note: This is a permanent position available immediately.

A Merit Pool will be established from this process and may be used to fill future vacancies over the next 12 months.
