Details: Are you a creative communicator who enjoys turning complex information into clear, engaging content? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications all-rounder to help keep City and Environment Directorate (CED) staff informed, connected and engaged.
This is a great opportunity to use a broad mix of communication skills from strategic writing and storytelling to campaign development and basic graphic design to deliver meaningful internal communication and engagement activities across the directorate.
We’re looking for someone who brings initiative, good judgement and fresh ideas. You’ll create and publish content across a suite of internal communication channels, support communication plans and campaigns, and help translate CED’s strategic objectives into messages that are clear, timely and relevant for our workforce.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar communications role, or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field is highly desirable.
Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
