Details: The City and Environment Directorate (CED) brings together the people, services and systems that shape Canberra’s future. We are a new directorate with a bold purpose: to deliver smarter, more connected services that respond to the needs of our Territory and community.

This position is part of a small, dynamic team that reports to the Senior Director, Transformation and Coordination. The role involves facilitating the implementation of the Oracle Procurement Contracts Cloud Module across the Directorate, in alignment with the Whole of Government rollout. Key responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders across business units to ensure the successful implementation of the module, as well as providing support and training. The occupant of the position will have the opportunity to undertake a diverse range of tasks, including serving as an APIAS administrator to provide user support, coordinating the Directorate’s notifiable invoices for publication on the Public Notifiable Invoices Register, and updating the Directorate’s financial delegations.

Eligibility/Other requirements:  

  • A degree in accounting or finance is highly desirable.

Note:  A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and can be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
