Details: The ACT Veterinary Practitioners Board (the Board) is a statutory Board established under the Veterinary Practice Act 2018 (the Act) and is responsible for regulating and registering veterinary practitioners and veterinary premises in the ACT.
The Board is seeking to fill the Inspector position who is responsible for undertaking premises inspections as required.
Veterinary premises that are used for the provision of veterinary services in the ACT must be approved by the Board. A requirement of registration is that the premises must be inspected at initial registration and then on at a least four-yearly schedule.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
- Driver’s licence (Class C) is essential.
- Experience with animal related services and/or the veterinary profession is beneficial, but not an essential requirement.
- Currently working outside of the ACT is also beneficial to avoid conflicts of interest.
Note: These positions will be offered on a casual part-time and full-time basis and the full-time salary noted above will be paid pro-rata. Selection may be based on application only. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
