Details: ACT NoWaste is seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Officer in the Service Delivery team. The position is responsible for responding to customer queries and processing requests relating to essential government waste management services.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to provide a highly professional, responsive, and customer-oriented approach to all contact opportunities. At the ASO4 level, your tasks will involve critical thinking, providing clear and concise advice, negotiation of household waste collection issues, and conducting research and analysis to improve business practice and performance.
ACT NoWaste is unique in recycling and waste management in Australia: we work across both state/territory and local government-level functions, which provides opportunities to deliver sustainable services to the ACT community and influence and contribute efforts to improve waste management outcomes at a local, regional and national level.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Qualifications relevant to the duties of the position and/or substantial work experience relevant to the position are an advantage.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
