You will be a key member of the Access Canberra Executive group helping to drive organisational strategy and implementation of government priorities.
To support agency needs and promote career development, Executive Branch Manager roles within Access Canberra may from time-to-time be rotated across different branches leading any of the functional streams, which currently comprise of:
- Strategy, Data and Governance
 - Fair Trading and Compliance
 - Licensing and Registration
 - Service Delivery and Engagement
 - Construction and Planning Regulation
 - Corporate Support and Capability
 - Environment, Land and Technical Regulation
 
Some Executive Branch Manager roles perform statutory functions, such as the Construction Occupations Registrar, Commissioner for Fair Trading and CEO ACT Gambling and Racing.
The Executive Branch Manager, Licensing and Registration works closely with lead policy directorates to deliver Transport Licensing; Births, Deaths and Marriages; Liquor and Gambling Licensing; Business and Occupational licensing; and Transport Solutions.
Note: Selection may be based on written application and referee reports only and is open to current ACTPS employees.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $288,060 - $298,258 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $254,964.
Contract: The successful applicant will be placed on a short-term contract. The position is available immediately until 31 January 2026.

City and Environment Directorate was established on the 1 July 2025. This new directorate is an amalgamation of positions previously advertised under Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate and Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate.
