Details: Do you have experience in project and contract management for urban infrastructure projects and public domain upgrades?
The City Renewal Authority (City Renewal) plays a key role in shaping the growth of central Canberra, creating vibrant places where people can live, explore, and enjoy.
Within City Renewal, the Capital Works team is made up of experienced industry professionals who bring a diverse range of project and contract management skills to deliver a complex and impactful infrastructure program.
As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to Canberra’s future. Working with a high degree of autonomy and trust, you will lead projects that enhance both the physical environment and the social vibrancy of our precincts. Your responsibilities will span the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, contract administration, and construction delivery.
Our current portfolio includes landscaping and urban infrastructure projects, public domain upgrades, and essential services improvements (including civil, electrical, and stormwater works), delivered across a mix of greenfield and brownfield environments.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Holds a relevant qualification in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, or project management, or membership with a recognised professional body in Australia.
- Holds a relevant degree.
- Has substantial experience in infrastructure design and construction, or in project and contract management.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 28 May 2027 with the possibility of permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
