Details: The City Renewal Authority is offering a three-year position for a Senior Project Manager, commencing in November 2025.
The role involves managing Public Realm Capital Works projects from final design through to delivery. You will operate with a high level of autonomy and under limited direction, overseeing construction activities that support the development and activation of the City Renewal precinct.
The Senior Project Manager directly reports to the Program Director, Capital Works, who is responsible for delivering City Renewal’s Capital Works portfolio.
The Capital Works team works in strategic partnership with Infrastructure Canberra to deliver its projects.
Eligibility/Other Requirements: Positions classified as an Infrastructure Officer require the occupant to;
- Hold a relevant professional qualification or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia; or
- Hold a relevant building degree; or
- Have significant building or Infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience, in managing large-scale projects and making significant decisions impacting the organisation.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from November 2025 for a period of three years with the possibility of permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
