Details: Are you passionate about making a difference in the community? The ACT Government Community Services Directorate (CSD) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Director to join the Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an area focused on driving cultural change and system reform to address domestic, family, and sexual violence in the ACT.
As an Assistant Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic policies, managing projects, and providing high-quality advice to senior executives and government officials. Your responsibilities will include leading policy development, coordinating intergovernmental relations, and supporting legislative reforms. You will also oversee junior staff, ensuring the delivery of impactful programs and initiatives that support victim-survivors and enhance community safety.
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in policy development, strategic thinking, and project management. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. A sound understanding of the social, cultural, and political landscape related to domestic, family, and sexual violence is highly desirable.
