Details: The Assistant Director of Business Application Support is a hands-on technical role dedicated to overseeing the digital platforms that power the ACT Education Directorate. In this position you will manage the Directorate's Google learning environments and device systems, ensuring vital business applications run smoothly. You will be responsible for solving complex software issues, coordinating system updates and maintaining clear technical documentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to take full ownership of high-level technical systems that directly support the ACT community.

We are looking for someone with practical experience in cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Google Workspace, as well as databases and software configuration. A clear understanding of how software is developed, maintained and supported will be key to your success. Beyond your technical skills, you will collaborate closely with external technology vendors and internal teams to ensure our systems align with wider government strategies. Eligibility/Other requirements: The successful applicant must be an Australian citizen and possess or be able to obtain and maintain, an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Baseline clearance.
