Our Corporate Services Group is seeking a talented and motivated Media and Public Relations (PR) Officer to join our team, where you’ll play a vital role in shaping our public image through the delivery of clear, impactful communications.
In this role, you will develop and implement media strategies, manage media inquiries, draft speeches and social content, and provide timely analysis of media coverage. This role also involves supporting internal communication functions, assisting with crisis response, and building strong relationships with journalists and stakeholders.
To thrive in this role, you’ll be an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities. You’ll bring proven experience in media relations within the public sector, along with a solid understanding of digital communication tools and social media platforms.

Eligibility/Other requirements: A tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, marketing, media or a related discipline is highly desirable.
