Details: Digital Canberra is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Support Technician to join the Strategic IT Asset Management team.

This role provides hands-on support for the discovery, verification, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure asset data across ACT Government sites. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of asset records by conducting physical asset verification, supporting audit and reconciliation activities, and maintaining data within enterprise systems.

Working across a range of environments, you will support asset lifecycle activities including deployment, relocation and disposal, while identifying and escalating data discrepancies to improve overall data quality and asset management practices.

The work requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  This is a hands-on role that involves working across multiple sites and contributing directly to improving the quality and reliability of asset data used across government.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, veterans, younger and older workers, and people with diverse genders, sexes and sexualities to apply.

Notes: Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working arrangements, subject to normal requirements.

How to Apply: Applicants should submit a maximum two-page pitch outlining their suitability for the position against the capability requirements in the Position Description, and a current curriculum vitae with details of at least two referees.

Please review the Position Description for details about the role and associated responsibilities, and feel free to contact us if you have questions.

Applications should be submitted via the Apply Now button below.

Note: Under the ACTPS employment framework you may be placed in another role where required for the efficient administration of the service.

The ACT public service is committed to closing the gap, underpinned by the belief that when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have a genuine say in the design and delivery of policies, programs and services that affect them, better life outcomes are achieved.
