Details: The Service Assurance Refresh Team is seeking a highly motivated multitasker to undertake the role of the Refresh Manager.
This Position provides direct leadership and operational management of a team of up to 12 staff and is critical to the successful delivery of the End User Hardware Rollout and Refresh Programs, which support the ACT Government’s strategic objective. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across asset lifecycle management, vendor and contract management, and the delivery of customer-facing ICT services. It plays a key role in ensuring vendors meet contractual obligations, supports compliance with the Logistics Services, and maintains Service Level Agreements.
The successful applicant will provide leadership to projects undertaken in the Refresh program and the broader Service Assurance. Leadership expertise in delivering agreed business outcomes by taking initiative, organising resources, setting clear direction, and providing guidance and mentoring the team.

What qualities do you need to have?
- Leadership expertise and commitment to high quality customer service principles and practises.
- A good sense of humour and ability manage a dynamic and high performing team.
- Knowledge of the Asset Management lifecycle process to deliver the required outcomes.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Manage customer expectations in relation to ICT hardware for WHOG.
- A willingness to share information and knowledge to team members and the broader DDTS.
Compliance Requirements:
- An ACT Government Baseline clearance is required for this position.
- Driver’s license C class is essential.
Notes: This is a temporary position available for a period of three months from 8 December 2025 until 1 March 2026 with the possibility of extension up to six months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
