Details: Under broad direction from the Director of Data Management and Quality Services, the Assistant Director of Data Management and Quality Services is responsible for:
- Perform data discovery activities, ensuring thorough documentation of requirements and identify data points/methodologies to aid technical teams in developing data products.
- Assist in the development and ongoing delivery of a data quality management function within the Hub.
- Identifying opportunities for improved data capture and use of information for reporting and clinical improvement purposes.
- Assist in the development and ongoing delivery of a data management function in the Hub.
- Assist in the development and ongoing delivery of a demand management function in the Hub to centrally manage service requests of the Hub.
- Documenting and reviewing the status of tasks and issues on an ongoing basis including participating in meetings and preparing documentation for ongoing governance committees.
- Support the Director in all aspects of data management and quality services within the Hub.
- Undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the division or directorate.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in a field relevant to this role.
- Experience with, or the ability to learn, how to read and interpret programming languages such as SQL and Python is highly desirable.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 31 December 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
