Details: Under the broad direction of the Senior Director, the Pharmacist 2/3 analyst and administrator will work closely with the team of dedicated analysts and administrators to:
- Configure and maintain medication records and workflows within the Digital Health Record (DHR) and ancillary medication management systems to support safe, efficient, effective, and patient centred medication management.
- Work with other analysts to ensure that the configuration of the system considers the holistic impact of any changes.
- Identify issues that arise in the designated workstream, as well as issues that impact other workstreams and work collaboratively with the Directors and other Analysts to resolve them.
- Identify and implement requested changes to the DHR and ancillary systems, in alignment with change control processes.
- Review and analyse medication related safety issues within the DHR and ancillary systems and contribute to implementing strategies to proactively reduce risk and enhance medication safety.
- Perform system administrator responsibilities including preparing business requirement specifications, system design input, documentation development and maintenance, vendor liaison, and User Acceptance Testing of applications, integrated devices and interfaces for the designated workstream.
- Utilise clinical informatics to support and evaluate quality improvement initiatives across the digital medication management ecosystem.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure digital health solutions align with clinical practice and organisational strategic priorities.
- Work with Trainers to ensure end-users are prepared to utilise the DHR and ancillary systems including through participating in training, preparation of training materials and working with end users.
- Ensure work is performed to a high standard and in accordance with established timeframes.
- Document and review the status of tasks and issues on an ongoing basis including participating in meetings and preparing documentation for governance committees.
- Undertake other duties as requested, that are appropriate to the level of this position and contribute to the objectives of the Directorate.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
Essential:
- Be registered as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Desirable:
- A post graduate qualification at diploma or above in a field relevant to the role.
